Malvern could have a new market site by the end of the summer. The area in front of the Abbey Gateway will soon be filled with stalls if permission to close a section of road there is granted.

Probably the most expensive house ever to go on the market in the Malvern area is for sale at offers over £3.5 million. That's the guide price set by Andrew Grant Country Homes for Croome Court, the former home of the Earls of Coventry.

Malvern's pSiMedica has just changed hands in a multi-million dollar deal. QinetiQ, one of the company's founders, stands to make millions out of the deal.

A project to recycle used furniture has closed because of lack of funds. The scheme was run by Malvern's Community Action, which for many years took in good-quality second-hand furniture from local residents and passed it on to people in need.

The Malvern Theatre Players have been given £3,000 grant to improve their headquarters. The group are upgrading Theatre House, on Grange Road, to provide a studio theatre.
