WORCESTER Racecourse opens the doors to its most celebrated fixture tomorrow -- Ladies Day.
Officials are preparing for another bumper crowd at the Pitchcroft venue with St Richard's Hospice again heavily involved.
More than 170 places in the St Richard's marquee were quickly snapped up this year, following on from the success of the 2003 event.
Stars of the racing world are also giving the event their seal of approval.
Callow End based Jim Lewis, owner of the three times Gold Cup winner Best Mate, will be on hand to regale guests with stories of his great wins and champion jockey Tony McCoy has donated signed racing goggles to be sold as part of major auction.
Tipster Robert Bellamy will provide top tips for the day which also coincides with the Derby. However, racing fans won't miss out as large screen televisions will be all around Pitchcroft.
Malvern's Phillip Serrell -- star of television's Flog It and Bargain Hunt -- will be running the post race auction. Auction lots include a pastel of Richard Johnson aboard Rooster Booster at Cheltenham, signed by the top jockey and the trainer Philip Hobbs. There are also a host of other items, including signed items from Lewis, an equine sports massage and relaxing spa days are all up for the highest bidder. The auction will be open to marquee guests and all other racegoers, starting at 5.30pm.
