A BUSINESS development breakfast attracted more than 100 people keen to do business with one another.
The Lloyds TSB business banking team was very pleased with the reaction to its first development breakfast, held at Worcester Rugby Club, Sixways, Worcester.
Each attendee had the chance to do a two-minute presentation on his or her enterprise to between eight and 10 other people at the table, before moving on to another table to repeat the process, meaning each business had the chance to present to between 16 and 20 businesses.
Name badges, promotional material and a large supply of company cards were a must!
"Everyone present had a strong desire and expectancy to advertise and win more business," said Richard King, senior business manager at Lloyds TSB in Worcester.
"Comments such as 'this is what we need' and 'we must meet to talk further' are testimony to the benefit of attending.
"By using the breakfast as an opportunity to establish contacts undoubtedly leads to new potential customers or suppliers. Much more business is developed after the event.
"We are determined to help our business customers be more successful. If we can help by organising such a gathering - for everyone to benefit - we are delighted."
The event is due to be repeated on Wednesday, September 8.
