TICKETS are still available for the Concert with a Difference at St Faith's Church, Berrow, tomorrow (Saturday). The performance by The Full Bloom Singers, under the leadership of Hilary Davies, starts at 7pm. The evening's entertainment will cost £5, which also includes wine and nibbles during the interval. Tomorrow afternoon at the village hall, Janet will be once again holding one of her special jumble sales. Proceeds will be divided between Pendock/Berrow churches and village hall funds. Raffle prizes and cakes would be appreciated, bring them along on morning of sale.
Congratulations to all for making the confirmation service at Berrow last Sunday morning so special. Bishop David, of Dudley, made everyone most welcome and, together with Rev Joy Birkin, conducted a superb service. Also thank you to Giles Turner and the benefice choir and to all who contributed towards refreshments.
