GAVIN Poupart and Dave Walker overcame the elements in the Velo Club Sevale's 25 mile time trial held on the Kinnersley/A38 course.
On a windy, showery evening, the pair came in first and second with their times of 57min 53sec and 59min 6sec respectively. Mike Amery came third with a time of 61min 13sec.
The full results were: 1 G Poupart 57.53, 2 D Walker 59.06, 3 M Amery 61.13, 4 S O'Toole 66.48, 5 C Smallwood 67.05, 6 T Knight 69.40, 7 C Lewis-Farley 73.45.
The next event is the Velo Club Sevale club championship 25-mile time trial on the same Kinnersley/A38 course, which will be held on Thursday (June 8), starting at 7.30pm.
