ATHLETES from Malvern College travelled to Nunnery Wood sports centre, Worcester, for the County Championships.
Following the competition six Malvernian athletes were selected to represent Hereford & Worcs Schools at the Mason Trophy Inter Counties meeting at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham.
These were: John Brierly (400m hurdles), Ayo Afolabi (triple jump), Amir Baba-Kusa (triple jump), Eris de Stacpoole (200m), Lottie Coleman (200m), Luke Brazier (discus).
The following week Hillstone pupils had been selected to represent Malvern Hills District schools at the County Minors Championships at Hereford. Two pupils gained silver medals, Nnenna Kalu in the 100m and Laura Muhlfenzi in the shot.
