Worcestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra will feature budding Malvern stars in concert at Huntingdon Hall on Tuesday.
William Stayt-Mackey, a home taught drummer who is just 12-years-old, and May Caulkin, who studies music at Worcester's Technical College, will perform alongside 24 other young musicians aged 12 to 22.
The band, created by local brass tutor Ian Hattersley and Roy Turner, of Worcester's Royal Grammar School, performed at Upton-upon-Severn's International Jazz Festival last weekend.
Aspiring musicians for all sections, of approximately grade six standard, are always needed to join the band and should contact Mr Hattersley on 01527 540616.
Tickets for the concert are available on 01905 611427 and are priced £6 (concessions £3.50).
