OPPONENTS of a controversial mobile phone mast erected in Worcestershire have called a public meeting to consider how to continue their challenge.
Residents in Claines, near Worcester, want Vodafone to remove the mast it has built near a school without planning permission.
They will meet at 6pm tonight at Claines C of E Primary School to hear from district and parish councillors and share information about the next steps to have it removed.
Parent Jan Boxall said the ultimate aim is to have the mast, which the mobile phone giant insists is only temporary, taken down, as well as three others already in place.
"That's what we would like to see happen.
"We know we have one hell of a fight on our hands but the more people that raise a protest the more chance we have," said Mrs Boxall.
