A FAMILY spent the weekend searching Worcester for a man who has been missing since last week.
Denville Smith (above), who is epileptic, was last seen cycling across the New Road bridge at about 7.45am on Wednesday on his way to work in Trow Way, Diglis.
His sister Sue Holbrow and her husband Neil looked around Worcester Cathedral, Diglis and riverbanks for the 57-year-old, who lives in Blenheim Road, St John's, over the weekend.
"We're coping as well as can be expected. We just don't know what to do, really," said Mr Holbrow.
Mrs Holbrow added that police planned to carry out an "anniversary" check this morning and that they had dredged the river but found nothing.
Mr Smith, known as "Ernie", is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of very slim build with short black, thinning hair and blue eyes.
He has a Midlands accent, smokes cigarettes and was possibly wearing blue jeans, a check shirt and brown woolly hat when he went missing.
Anyone with information can ring police on 08457 444888 quoting 128S/061004.
