VISITORS to Worcester's German twin town are resting easy after the gift of a bench from the Faithful City.
The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Allah Ditta, gave the Hardy and Padmore-style seat during a visit to Kleve, near the Dutch border, in his role as president of the city's twinning association.
Modelled on the same century-old design as dozens of similar seats throughout Worcester, the association's gift is now permanently sited in the centre of Kleve - where there's already a "Worcester bridge" and a "Worcester Street".
