MEMBERS of Worcestershire YFCs had brows as furrowed as the fields they were tilling as they concentrated on cutting the straightest line at the county's annual ploughing contest
The competition was held at Shenstone House Farm in conjunction with Chaddesley Corbett Farmers Clubs.
This year saw a record number of YFC entries - 17 in total.
And the winners are...
Class 1 (conventional ploughing for members 26 and under): Neil Warren, from Hagley YFC
Class 2 (conventional ploughing for members 21 and under): Mat Jones, from Inkberrow YFC
Class 3 (reversible ploughing for members 26 and under): James Walker, from Wythall YFC
Class 4 (reversible ploughing for members 21 and under): Dave Warren. from Wythall YFC
Overall champion ploughman: Dave Warren
