THE organisers of a major poetry festival in Ledbury have announced the winners of its annual competition.
Ten-year-old Zoe Duffy, from Much Cowarne, near Withington, Herefordshire, scooped first prize in the children's category with her poem The Raspberry Hedge in Willoak Grove.
It was selected by American judge Mark Doty from a total of 2,500 entries.
In the adult category, the first prize went to Canadian poet Joelene Heathcote for her poem Cuneiform.
