CONGRATULATIONS to Bromsgrove District Council. Since restricting and prohibiting station traffic from parking at the lower end of New Road, you have sucessfully moved this traffic to the surrounding side roads.
Rigby Lane in particular now suffers as a result.
For those of your readers not familiar with Rigby Lane, it is one of the main roads which feed the local Aston Fields school. The other Friday morning was chaos trying to turn into Rigby Lane - school traffic coming in and exiting this busy junction (which included school coaches) was at a near standstill thanks to double-parked station commuter cars.
And lo and behold, at the top of Rigby Lane were two, yes two refuse wagons. Great timing guys!
Seeing as this council is incapable of collecting our refuse (we are still waiting for our wheelie bins), incapable of arranging suitable parking facilities for station traffic
(sorry, but the existing station car park is too small and over priced), plus your pathetic excuse for levelling the Market Hall, I shall seriously rethink my offer to you this Christmas to arrange the proverbial in a brewery.
