I REFER to the article in the paper of September 29 with regards to the Oakall residents' problems in Bromsgrove.
Councillor Spencer says she is angry at what appears to be "party political opportunism". My colleagues and I wish to point out that we are not affiliated in any way to any political party. We left the Conservative's because we wanted to represent all the people of Bromsgrove, as well as the people in our respective wards, without being dictated to by any party
This is why we supported the people involved with the Rovers ground.
We believe this is what the people of Bromsgrove want and expect of their councillors. Cllr Mrs Spencer is right in her assumption that it is opportunism. The Independents will use every opportunity they can to help any person or group of people in Bromsgrove with their problems.
Finally, if the people of The Oakalls wish us to help them in their fight to have what they were promised, please contact us.
