THE talent of Worcestershire's playwrights will be on display at a 'script-in-hand' performance this Saturday night.
A Swan Playwright's competition to find three plays under the umbrella title of Scream has resulted in the winning entries of 'Whose head am I in?' by Tom Bryson of Kidderminster, 'Mother's Day' by Malvern-based Ali Oxtoby and 'Robbery with Violet' by Anne Bucknall of Hartlebury.
They promise to make theatregoers howl in despair and lose control in laughter at the Kidderminster-based Rose Theatre, in Chester Road North, Broadwaters.
Swan playwrights are a self-organised performance writers' group.
The performance, which features strong language and a talkback session, start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 and are available on 01562 743745.
