Ludlow 1, Pershore 4
PERSHORE maintained their 100 per cent record in the Coaching Solutions League with a well-deserved victory.
Both sides showed patience and good ball retention but, as the half continued, the home side became more dominant and only excellent goalkeeping by Stuart White prevented Ludlow taking more than a 1-0 lead into the break.
The visitors hit back after the restart and were soon in front thanks to two textbook short corners involving Jamie Hug-hes, Gareth Rushton and scorer Rob Curley.
It wasn't long before Per-shore extended their lead when James Rayner's good run was finished expertly by Richard Lisle.
Ludlow were denied a second goal when the whistle went just as the ball ended up into the net and Pershore cleared the ball quickly and Toby Maclaurin deftly lobbed the keeper after a short corner.
Curley finished off the scoring on the stroke of full-time after another move involving Rushton and Hughes.
Last Saturday's winners continue their league campaign this weekend with a double-header against Malvern and Aston University.

Pershore II 5, Aldridge II 2
TEN-MAN Pershore began hesitantly and all the early running came from an enthusiastic Aldridge who were denied a goal by resolute tackling from the home defence.
Pershore came increasingly into the game with Mark Passmore carving out several chances before he was rashly felled by the Aldridge keeper to concede a penalty flick but James Massingham's effort flew high over the crossbar.
Heads didn't drop and Per-shore finally took the lead just before half-time with James Hector scoring the simplest of tap-ins after a fine driving run Jay Templar.
Despite their numerical inferiority, Pershore were in the ascendancy in the second half and forced a string of short corners from which Passmore and Hector netted.
The last quarter of the game saw Pershore tire and Aldridge cut the arrears only for the hosts to restore their two-goal cushion courtesy of Massi-ngham's strike.
The lead was extended further when a poorly placed defensive clearance was collected by Passmore who drove home powerfully.
Pershore poured forward in search of more goals but it was the visitors who netted the seventh of the day that only served as scant consolation.
