BADSEY were kicking themselves after losing a match that they should have won.
They dominated for long periods, while player of the match Louise King confidently controlled the play at the back, assisted by solid defending from Karen Hall and Caroline Gorner.
Up front, Karen Rob-inson, Zoe Hodgkins and Jo Abbotts made frequent raids on the home defence, backed up by Emily Andrews and Sharon Fish but they couldn't convert pressure into goals.
The winning goal centred on a dubious umpiring decision just before half time that handed Kidderminster a penalty corner that resulted in the award of a penalty flick that was duly converted.
Both sides redoubled their efforts in the second half which led to end-to-end play with Badsey putting some lovely moves together but unable to come up with an equaliser.
Badsey entertain Har-borne at Redditch RU-FC on Saturday, push- back 12 noon.
