THE £1.7million funding for Tenbury High School's state-of-the-art community sports hall has been confirmed by the Big Lottery Fund last week. Work is already under way and the four-court hall, two tennis courts, changing rooms and equipment are expected to take a year to complete.
To commemorate the start of building work, a time capsule is to be buried under the site and the search is now on for suitable items to be locked away. Last week parents and visitors were able to see the hall plans for themselves at an open day.
