CHADDESLEY Corbett continue to prop up West Midlands Division Two after losing their third successive game, a 7-1 home defeat to Stafford.
For the first time this term, they began a match with 11 players, but despite an improved showing, were still a long way short of competing.
Chaddesley failed to convert their chances and were punished as they fell three goals behind by half-time.
They started the second half brightly when Jay Da Costa scored their first goal of the season after being put clear by Tom Boden. But their joy was short-lived as they allowed Stafford to score four more times.
Matt Boden is resigning as captain, but will stay on for the season with nobody willing to take the role.
Chaddesley are bottom of the table with three defeats, having conceded 34 goals and scored just one. They are hoping for their first win when they host Kynoch at Stourport on Saturday (11am).
