STOURPORT Ladies kept their early season success story rolling by prolonging their unbeaten record in Worcestershire Division One.
Holly Lashford's girls ran out 4-3 winners in their home clash with Worcester seconds, but they had to endure a late scare.
Stourport were coasting at 3-0 at half-time after starting strongly, keeping possession, moving freely through midfield and creating scoring opportunities.
A brace from ex-Worcester player Kayliegh Hateley, either side of a Lashford strike, put them in control.
Worcester's persistence paid off with two minutes to go when they scored twice, but that did not phase the hosts who notched their through Wilma Martin.
To complete a frantic finale Worcester pulled another goal back from a penalty stroke after Vicky Bristow used her foot to illegally stop the ball on the line, but Stourport held out for the win.
They have taken maximum points so far and will be hoping for more of the same when they visit neigbours Bromsgrove seconds at 11.30am on Saturday.
A hat-trick from Rosie Connolly helped the seconds continue their winning ways with in Worcestershire Division Two.
Lousie Bagnall was also on target twice as they won 5-2 at Harbourne after taking the lead within the first 30 seconds.
It is now three wins out of three for the seconds who play host to Evesham at 2pm on Saturday.
There was also a treble for Teri Baron who scored all three in the third's 3-0 win at Upton in Worcestershire Division Three.
They now entertain Droitwich at 12.30pm on Saturday.
The fourths were the only Stourport ladies team to lose, going down 7-0 at home to Old Sils sec0nds in Worcestershire Division Three. The young side host Bournville thirds at 3.30pm on Saturday.
