POLICE are appealing for information about the theft of a custom-built cycle stolen from outside a shop in Weavers Wharf, Kidderminster.
A male wearing a dark blue baseball cap, pale blue hooded top and jeans was seen riding off on the BMX bike which had been hand-built from other bikes.
Kidderminster police said the cycle, which had been parked in the delivery entrance of Sports World, was worth £300, had Mongoose accessories and a 'Ruption' frame.
It was matt black with the original red paintwork showing through in places and a picture of a mongoose on the saddle.
The theft was on Saturday, October 2 at 4.05pm and anyone with any information is asked to contact Kidderminster police on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
