BRAVE youngsters who want their spines tingled and goosebumps raised should head down to Chapter Meadows on Friday, October 22, for fright night.
The city council's rangers, in conjunction with the Duckworth Worcestershire Trust, are hoping a ghostly tale of horror and mayhem will unravel on the mist-laden meadows and brave children are needed to help summon-up the supernatural goings-on.
A similar night of ghostly capers and bewitching goings-on was held last year but chief ranger Warwick Neale said the ghost-hunters that turned up were not scared enough.
"So this year, be afraid - be very afraid! " he said.
"We have 30 places for children who aren't scared of the supernatural and are keen to summon-up the ghosties, the ghoulies and kind of spirits that rattle your windows and make you jump when you think you're safely tucked-up in bed.
"Parents can come as well if they think they're brave enough!"
The night, which starts at 7pm, is free but a £2 donation to the Duckworth Worcestershire Trust would be welcome.
Booking is advised on 01905 23267.
