Badsey Rgrs U-8 14,
Drakes Broughton Rgrs 0
BADSEY'S third league fixture of the season saw the home side win comfortably against spirited and determined opponents.
The first half saw Stuart Davis score a hat-trick and Phil Young two with Josh Evans scoring a sixth.
Drakes Broughton came out in the second half and battled hard but were overpowered by the home team who scored at will. Davis hit three more goals, captain Jon Wallace hit a treble with Young and Joe Dartnell completing the rout.
Inkberrow Eagles U-12 2,
Evesham Utd Jnrs 2
THERE was a spirited fightback from the whole Evesham team who claimed a draw in a highly entertaining contest.
Evesham took the lead when Jake Bennett scored after some excellent approach work from Craig Burtenshaw and Alistair Taylor. Peter Smith made two fine saves before the Eagles levelled.
Inkberrow took the lead from a breakaway before United struck the bar with a penalty.
Minutes later a second penalty award for deliberate handball on the line resulted in another miss before the pressure finally told when Bennett slotted home his second to secure a well deserved draw.
Evesham Utd Robins U-9 6, Newtown Spts Jnrs Colts 0
UNITED'S defence is still to be breached after Saturday's fourth match of the season.
Sol Sanchez opened the scoring in the first half and he added a second after goals from Jordan Izod and Oliver Banfield to make it 4-0 at half-time.
Player of the match Banfield produced another excellent left wing display but he failed to find the net after the break when Jack Davis and birthday boy Sam Cainey added to Evesham's tally.
Banbury Utd 3,
Evesham Utd U-14 7
THE result of Saturday's Amros Cup first leg clash was decided in the first half when the visitors led 7-1.
The goals, in a powerful display, came from David Huggins (4), Adam Styles, Dan Trotman and Ryan Cantrill.
Evesham will be glad they are taking seven away goals back for next month's second leg after Banbury showed a significant improvement in the second half.
Drakes Broughton U-14 1,
Littleton Jnrs 3
LITTLETON recorded a fourth successive win after taking the lead courtesy of a well placed effort from Phil Jones.
Drakes levelled on the counter but an excellent free-kick from Jamie Reddish from almost 30 yards soon restored the away team's lead.
The second half saw much of the same pressure and attacking football as Littleton pinned their hosts in their own half for much of the period when Paul Hartland's late header settled matters.
Bredon Colts U-11 0,
Broadway Utd 2
BREDON failed to break down strong and well organised opposition despite having a large share of procession.
They just couldn't find that final ball and were made to pay midway through the half when a quick break led to Broadway's opener.
They were then given a penalty close to half-time after which Colts dominated but couldn't turn pressure into goals.
Evesham Utd U-11 3,
Southside Cubs 0
UNITED maintained their unbeaten record as they made light of the absence of top striker Woods.
Bryn Tomes stepped into his boots with two long-range strikes in the first half when the clubs were often on the back foot as Evesham made effective use of both wings, although on too many occasions their finishing was to let them down.
Evesham's third goal followed a pinpoint cross from Sam Ford whose centre was netted on the volley by Louis Brown after the goalkeeper's parry.
Littleton U-14 5, Oldbury Tigers 1
LITTLETON put in an excellent performance against the early league pacesetters.
Ryan Clarke beat four players before laying the ball into the path of Lance Smith who was then brought down in the box for namesake Matt to score from 12 yards.
Clarke then sent another through ball to Jack Proctor and the keeper could only parry his fierce drive to feet of Matt Goss who drove in the rebound.
Dan Keen's driving run and inch-perfect cross then found Proctor who showed great calmness before placing the ball beyond the keeper.
The second half saw more of the same and Olly Payne and Will Begg combined to release Proctor who beat one player before crossing for Lance Smith to open his account.
Another shot from the impressive Proctor was again spilled and Goss latched on to the loose ball before Oldbury grabbed a late consolation after seeing Steve Powell save a spot-kick as part of a string of fine saves.
Badsey Rgrs U-9 8, Peopleton 0
RANGERS soon got into their stride and opened the scoring with a well-taken effort from Ryan Dixon who made it 2-0 moments later.
Matty Andrew then scored a third with an excellent dead-ball strike that flew into the top corner.
The same player made it 4-0 soon after the restart and then completed his hat-trick direct from a corner.
Dixon did likewise before two fierce strikes from Andrew were spilled and snapped up by the predatory Dixon.
Evesham Utd Robins U-13 1, Bromyard Tn 6
MUCH of the game was played in the visitors' half, but two well-struck goals early in the first half put Robins on the back foot.
Dan Coupe reduced the arrears with a fine effort and United's Robins domination looked as though it would eventually tell.
However, Town scored again just before the interval and they then restricted Evesham to long-range efforts.
Bromyard then scored a fourth to wrap up the points and two more completed a sorry day for the losers.
Bredon Colts 1, Badsey Rgrs U-15 5
ONLY two points separated these two sides in the Cheltenham Youth League but they were separated by four goals at the finish.
Rangers opened the scoring after seven minutes when Shaun Read volleyed home but Bredon levelled.
Read restored the lead and then made it 3-1 completing his hat-trick in the process as Rangers turned round in control.
Will Tyrrell produced a smart save after the break but Read's fourth wrapped up the spoils and player of the match Mark Magee rounded off a superb afternoon.
Evesham Utd Girls U-13 4,
Phoenix 3
NEW signing Katie Armento bagged a hat-trick on her United debut to help her new side to a hard-fought Mercian League victory.
Phoenix led 2-1 at half-time but two more for the newcomer and one for Josie Symonds left Evesham in charge. However, they were left hanging on at the finish as Rebecca Panniers scored a treble for the visitors but it was Armento who took the honours in a solid team effort.
Peopleton U-16 4, Salford Rgrs 0
EXCELLENT goalkeeping prevented the host from taking the lead early in the game until new signing George Dalman broke the deadlock just before the interval.
A foul on Harry Coughlin soon after the restart earned Peopleton a penalty that Matt Murphy converted before Dalman turned provider as his crosses were netted by James Allen and Will George.
Drakes Broughton Rgrs U-11 5, Ilmington Utd 0
GOALS from Calum Tidy, Tom Lloyd and Joe Morrall gave Drakes a 3-0 interval lead and victory was assured when Daniel Wilcox popped up with a second half brace.
Sam Shale was unlucky not to open his account for the club.
