A HAT-TRICK for Chris Hough gave Bewdley Town three points to keep them up with the West Midland League Div One pace-setters, as they beat Ludlow Town Reserves 3-1.
Hough opened the scoring after 14 minutes, heading home following a Lewis Pountney flick.
Pountney had a chance to score himself, with only the Ludlow goalkeeper, Adam Marsh, to beat, but the attempt was saved.
Bewdley goalkeeper Steve Thomas made a superb save of Mike Davies' attempt and Jamie Hart had a chance for Bewdley, before Danny Crowther levelled the score after the break, giving Thomas no chance.
Hart did find the back of the net but the "goal" was disallowed for offside.
Hough saw a shot saved, but two minutes later made no mistake as he out-paced two defenders to score. He sealed Ludlow's fate in the 87th minute.
Saturday fixture: Eccleshall AFC v Bewdley Town (2.45pm).
