IT WAS far from the perfect 10 for Kidderminster Harriers Ladies as they suffered a heavy 10-1 defeat at home to West Bromwich Albion in the West Midlands Premier League.
Emma Purslow wasted an earlier chance to put them in front and things went from bad to worse when Vicky Roberts left the pitch through illness and Harriers were down to 10 players.
With no substitutes, Kidderminster found the going tough and they were 6-0 down at half-time. They grabbed a consolation on 75 minutes when Sara Lojko drove in an unstoppable left foot shot from 22 yards.
There was better news for Harriers Reserves who won 4-3 at Healess Cross Reserves in the Worcester County League. Kirsty Roberts hit a hat-trick, while Faye Kitchen was also on the score-sheet.
The first team visit Worcester City in the County Cup at 2pm on Sunday with the reserves entertaining Worcester Athletic in the league at the same time.
Burlish Olympic beat Worcester 8-1 in the Worcester County League last weekend with goals from Debbie Prescott (4), Mary Calder (2) and Karina Farr. They are at Redditch United in the county cup on Sunday.
