A SILVER Surfers day is to be held in Pershore to help older people find their way around a computer with the help of an expert tutor.
The day, which is being organised by Age Concern Herefordshire & Worcestershire, is especially for people aged 50 or more.
It takes place on Wednesday at the Age Concern shop in the Royal Arcade off Broad Street, Pershore between 10am to 12.30pm.
On the day people will be able to talk to someone about computers, have a go at using one, surf the Internet and learn how to send e-mails.
People will be able to see what computers are all about on a one to one basis.
If people are disabled and cannot use the stairs Age Concern will make alternative arrangements for them.
Age Concern also has 45 minutes free taster lessons at Evesham Community Contact Centre by appointment if people ring 01386 443322.
