STOURPORT seconds maintained their good form with a 26-14 win over their Chaddesley Corbett counterparts.
They opened the scoring when textbook forward play gave the backs good ball allowed winger Ed Osborn to score in style under the posts with Stewart Wilson converting.
Stourport continued to pile on the pressure and it wasn't long before
Osborn scored again under the posts and Wilson added the extras after more good phase work by the forwards.
Chaddesley came back strong and were rewarded with a push over try after strong line out play which was converted by Henry Fellows.
But Stourport soon increased their lead when intelligent running from second row man of the match Leigh Watts created a gap for centre Steve MacDonald to go through the Chaddesley defence and score to make it 19-7 at half time.
Chaddesley started the second half the brighter side and a great break by scrum half Andy Shaw gave him a try under the posts which Fellows converted.
Stourport now with the wind behind them used it wisely for possession which set up a five meter scrum and their mighty pack drove over the line for No 8 Les Pimm to score with Wilson again converting.
On Saturday, Stourport seconds host Worcester Wanderers seconds at Walshes Meadow at 3pm.
Bewdley-Stourport sufffered a heavy 44-7 defeat at home to Dudley Kingswinford fourths.
