Paul McGuire recounted tales of his life as a Butlins redcoat at the latest meeting. Several members visited Areley Kings for their 1920s evening.
The Pennies for Friendship scheme will continue for the Associated Country Women of the World, which has just celebrated its 70th anniversary.
Members were invited to enter the October competition for memories, anecdotes or poems about "Bonfire Night". The best three will be read at the Forest Group meeting on November 4, to be hosted by Lickhill at Areley Kings village hall.
On Wednesday, the annual meeting will be held at 10am in the Memorial Park community centre, Stourport.
