A CARPENTER who is carving out a career on the TV makeover show circuit has been putting his skills to good use close to home.
Kidderminster's Andy Davis, who began his television career on the popular BBC show Trading Up, has been filming for his latest programme - a new show called Houses Behaving Badly in the Kidderminster area.
The 37-year-old father-of-three was at the home of Tanya Brunton in North Road, Stourport, to help sort it out.
Tanya was put forward for the BBC One show by her mum Sarah Brunton following an appeal Andy made in the Shuttle/Times and News for Kidderminster householders to take part.
Andy, of Baldwin Road, said: "Tanya's mum thought she needed some help, having only recently moved in and had a baby."
While Tanya was taken out for the day, the Houses Behaving Badly team, including Andy, worked their magic by putting up shelves, hanging blinds and spring cleaning.
"She was pleased with what we did. In fact, she was quite tearful. It was a nice reaction," said Andy.
The programme will be broadcast in November.
