MALVERN artist Olwen Tarrant, the only woman to have been president of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI), is having an exhibition in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The show is at the Alexander Clayton Gallery, Chapel Street, and runs from Friday, October 22 to November 27.
Olwen, just back from painting in Mallorca, will be exhibiting Spanish landscapes, together with paintings done in her Upper Welland studio.
She will also showing at the ROI's annual exhibition from October 27 to November 7 at the Mall Galleries, London. Her exhibits will include Please Don't Feed The Pigeons, a study of buskers at Covent Garden, featured in the current Royal Academy magazine.
