BROMSGROVE Rovers manager Joe Jackson has launched a bid to bring his own son to Victoria Ground.
Jackson senior has served seven days on Unibond Division One side Willenhall Town for 18-year-old central midfield player Nathan.
If signed, the youngster will become the third new arrival at Rovers.
Following the capture of Leon Mitchell from Rushall, Jackson has snapped up another striker in Nicky Campbell from Nationwide North Stafford Rangers ahead of tomorrow's trip to Southern League Division One West joint leaders Mangotsfield United (3pm).
However, Riad Erraji (foot), Jon Daniels (ankle), Ryan Mahon (knee ligaments) and Lewis Churchill (foot) are definitely out.
Ross Collins could figure, despite missing last Saturday's 1-0 FA Trophy win over Burnham with a thigh injury.
Should Collins fail to make the team, Jackson is likely to keep faith with a back four of Steve Frost, Steve Ulfig, Quentin Townsend and Steve Hillman after the previous clean sheet.
The match is Rovers' first league fixture in October following a free date and the Trophy tie. They beat Paulton Rovers 3-1 in their last contest for points on September 28.
Yet, with only three matches in total under their belt since September 11, Jackson sees the prospect of facing the joint leaders as a challenge.
"It's been very difficult to get some momentum going," he said. "It's been stop start with a few blank Saturdays.
"Mangotsfield are up there on merit and they are certainly doing something right to be there.
"But on the other hand it also gives us the opportunity to measure ourselves to see how far we have come. It will be a tough game but we will be up for it."
The Bristol-based outfit currently share top spot with Taunton Town.
Rovers are seven points behind them but have two games in hand.
