WITH the Party conferences now over, there has been a lot of hot air expended regarding our membership of the European Union.
The Liberal Democrats and Labour are hell-bent on taking us further into political union with the associated loss of independence and national identity.
The Conservatives call themselves Eurosceptics, but they are, of course, committed to our membership of the European Union.
We have heard a lot about how Michael Howard wants "out of the Common Fisheries Policy" and "out of the Social Chapter". He talks about re-negotiating our membership. If only it were that easy!
Have you ever heard "get lost" uttered in 24 different languages at the same time? And, as is the usual situation with EU negotiations, if they make a concession what will they want in return ?
Re-negotiation is not an option. The only solution is withdrawal
