HEREFORD'S David Park roared back to form in the Mallorca Classic with a fine five-under-par 65 to avoid missing the cut.
The Burghill Valley club member had struggled in Thursday's first round and was way off the pace with a five-over-par 75. But yesterday was a different story as he stormed to a six-birdie round. The only blemish was a bogey four at the par three ninth.
Spain's Ryder Cup star Sergio Garcia was another golfer bang in form and he promised plenty more to come in today's third round.
Garcia bogeyed the final hole of his second round last night to finish three shots adrift of overnight leader Simon Khan. But the Ryder Cup star still fancies his chances.
Khan, from Essex, had set the early pace at 10 under par after a second-round 64 and remains on target for a second victory of the season.
