BEN Elton's award-winning comedy thriller Popcorn is the bold new production by Shipston Amateur Dramatic Society.
Playing tonight, Friday and Saturday, the play has been specially chosen by director Tim Skeath to attract younger audiences and performers to the group.
A satirical story which brings screen sex and violence into question, Popcorn is set in the Beverly Hills home of a director who makes violent films. Wayne and his girlfriend are psychopaths who break into his home on Oscars night and begin a terrible siege.
The play is not for children. Performances at the Townsend Hall start at 7.30pm and tickets are available from Wyntors of Shipston or on the door.
