BROMSGROVE Rovers boss Joe Jackson will bank on home advantage tonight as his side clash with local rivals Evesham United at the Victoria Ground in Southern League Division One West (7.45).
Both sides enter the derby duel on the back of drawn results from last Saturday, with Rovers holding in-form Mangotsfield United on their travels and Evesham throwing away two points at home to Brackley Town.
Jackson is still without Riad Erraji (foot), Jon Daniels (ankle), Ryan Mahon (knee ligaments) and Lewis Churchill (foot) through injury.
But he believes there is enough in his squad to cope with the challenge.
Jackson said: "It will be a tough game because Evesham have shown themselves to be a very good side.
"Any side that is up near the top of the league is there on merit and that's why we will have to give them a bit of respect.
"It would be nice to keep the unbeaten run going but I would like us to start winning games rather than drawing them.
"I felt we were on top against Mangotsfield, especially in the second-half, but it was a worthwhile exercise measuring ourselves against a team at the top of the league."
Striker Nicky Campbell made his debut for Rovers alongside Paul Szewczyk and is likely to get the nod again over Arthur Appleton.
Jackson has recruited his 18-year-old son Nathan, a 6' 5" midfielder from Unibond Division One club Willenhall Town, but he won't make his debut until Saturday.
He added: "Nathan is very fit and can bring something to the side. At the same time, I can see things which I think will help improve his game. He will get treated like any other player."
United's number one goalkeeper Tim Clarke will start in place of Dave Adey, who was substituted against Brackley with hamstring trouble, while defender Stuart Hamilton returns after shaking off the flu.
Evesham's assistant manager Paul West said: "Tim is on the mend from injury himself but he was on the bench last Saturday and is raring to go.
"This is a big game for both sides. We are in similar league positions and both of us have a couple of games in hand on the teams above us.
"We dropped two points on Saturday and it was very, very disappointing because we should have finished Brackley off after going a goal up. Jermaine Clarke had a fantastic opportunity to finish the game but put it wide from seven yards.
"We simply cannot afford to miss those chances at Bromsgrove or it could be costly."
