DISJOINTED Rovers disappointingly slumped to their first home defeat of the season against county rivals Evesham, who certainly seem to enjoy life on the road.
Always more alert and aware, Evesham fully deserved to win - what was their fourth success in five away games to date, with the other drawn.
As for Rovers it looks like a distinct case of getting back to basics and ensuring they do the simple things correctly. Too often their passing was wayward - either over or underhit, and too often gave away possession to a side that was always quick to counter attack.
To be fair Rovers did begin quite brightly but once the visitors had grabbed two goals in seven minutes they were always chasing the game.
On both occasions Rovers' defence went absent inside their own penalty area as Grant Pinkney (11 min) and Ravi Sangha (17) took full advantage of the acres of space gifted to them.
Rovers' forwards never had the same luxury and although a Paul Szewczyk 48th minute penalty threw them a brief lifeline, after he'd been pulled back the visitors wrapped the points up with a well struck goal from Gavin O'Toole.

l Boss Joe Jackson has warned that his side are ready to go on the front foot.
The Victoria Ground manager has drafted in forwards Leon Mitchell and Nicky Campbell and other sides in the league should be warned!
"It was always going to take a little while for the players to find their feet but, after two strong defensive displays, we are ready for the next step," Jackson said.
"Now that we have brought in two new strikers, we are ready to go on the front front.
"It was a good move bringing Nicky Campbell to the club - he is a quality player.
"All of these boys were with me when I ran the youth team at Bilston - they know the way I want to play the game, always quick on the counter-attack and able to pass the ball around the field."
l Rovers teenager David Rousell has been included in an 18-man squad for Worcestershire's FA County Youth Cup clash with Wiltshire at Aggborough this weekend.
The U18s side were handed a bye in the first round of the competition but face a tricky test against their West Country visitors. The county side will be looking to improve on their 4-0 defeat against Lincolnshire in their opening Midland Youth Championship clash two weeks ago.
