MORE than £400 worth of tools were stolen from a van parked in Station Way, Wythall, at about 1pm on Monday.
The tools were taken from the back of a white Peugeot van as the owner worked nearby.
They included two circular saws, a Makita jigsaw, a Bosch grinder and a drill with various drill bits.
A police spokesman said: "This happened in the middle of the day and it may be someone saw the tools being taken without realising they were being stolen or has been offered them for sale since.
"Our advice is to keep what you store in the van to a minimum and keep valuable tools out of sight.
"And vans should be locked every time they are left."
Anyone with information should call Bromsgrove police on 08457 444 888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
