Alvechurch 5
Westfields 1
THE five-star performance on the pitch was let down by a brawl that spilled over at Lye Meadow on Saturday.
Both teams were down to 10 men before Brett Fitzpatrick started the rout on 42 minutes and Simon Redhead added a second three minutes after the restart.
Neil Kitching made it three on the hour before the unsavoury scenes started.
With both sides now down to nine Liam O'Shea netted on 86 and 88 minutes to make it five.
Derek Craddock got a late consolation for the visitors.
The Churchmen face Buckingham Town in the first round proper of the FA Vase at Lye Meadow on Saturday and Frain is looking forward to the task.
"I think it's the first time since I've been here that I can go into a game with the same 11 players that I used at the weekend.
"Someone's going down to watch them midweek and report back, but it should be an interesting game."
