BOWLER Mark Evenson won the prestigious Tom Abel Cup when Bromsgrove Cricket Club held their annual dinner and awards evening.
Evenson picked up the silverware for the season's most outstanding display - his four wickets in five balls, including a hat-trick, to ensure Bromsgrove grabbed an unlikely victory in their league game with Harborne.
Some inspired performances for the U16s and with the Sunday seconds side helped Adam Jones land the Junior award.
Others to win silverware were Paul Duffy and Richard Barnes who were voted Players' Player of the Year by the 1st and 2nd teams respectively. David Kendall took the award in the 3rds and Bob Clarke was Clubman of the Year.
