HEADLESS Cross Ladies progressed into the last eight of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire County Cup with an emphatic 21-0 victory against Bredon Ladies.
Cross were never troubled as Player of the Match Teresa Boddington stole the show scoring 11 (eleven) goals.
Fellow forward Coral Ioney also scored four goals with further strikes from Lisa Paronuzzi (2), Felicity Pate (2), Alison Wayley and Alice Staniland completing the scoring on the day.
Cross were without four first team regulars with Maurica Flothmann, Becky Ankcorn missing and Denise Markham and Mandy Ellicott out injured.
Manager Rob Auld said: "The game against Bredon turned out to be far easier then expected, but it gave reserve-team players Felicity Pate, Vicky Gardener and Alice Staniland a taste of first team action.
"We are hoping to have Markham back for next week but Ellicott will be out for four to six weeks with ankle ligament damage."
Cross return to league action at the Abbey Stadium this Sunday (2pm) against Solihull Glades.
