Evesham II 28pts, Kidderminster 3
EVESHAM maintained their winnings ways last Saturday with a well contested win over rejuvenated opponents.
While the hosts fielded one of the lightest forward packs in the league, the scrum and line-outs remained solid throughout.
The first half was hard fought with both sides determined not to allow their line to be brea-ched.
It was 20 minutes into the game when Evesham went over in the corner to post the first of two tries that gave them a 14-3 interval lead.
The second half saw a more determined pack take control by going back to the basics of "hard yard" rugby that allowed the backs to unleash the flare that was somewhat contained earlier in the match.
Evesham ran in two more tries - the pick a solo effort from Chris Walvaard who picked up the ball on the Evesham 22 and ran diagonally across the pitch to score under the posts.
