A GROUP of adventurous pupils took in the sights and sounds of the Waseley Hills on a school walking trip.
Youngsters from Holywell Primary and Nursery School, in Gunner Lane, Rubery, joined the school walking group last Friday.
The mile walk takes the year six pupils over Waseley Hills ridge, before returning to school.
School events organiser Cynthia Beckett said: "The children love the walk. Some of them have never been to the hills before and they enjoy the views of the area and the school."
The walking group, led by deputy head Bronwen Biggs, sets off twice a week, with the aim of keeping fit, looking at the surrounding environment and enjoying the different seasons.
