MARVELLOUS millinery and must-have handbags will be some of the goodies tempting shopoholics at a charity event this weekend.

Craftspeople from all over the county, including Cutnall Green and Chaddesley Corbett, will show their individual designs at Worcester's Guildhall this Saturday.

The Passion for Fashion event is being held in aid of St Richard's Hospice and shoppers will have the opportunity to browse and buy from almost 30 stalls.

Mary Green, from Cutnall Green, will be showing off her designs in the latest headgear, while Sylvia Norman, from The Shoe and Gift Box, in Chaddesley Corbett, will display footwear and other accessories.

There will also be stalls of lingerie, scarves, children's clothing, beauty products and jewellery.

Alison Weston, St Richard's community fundraiser, said: "If you are looking for an extra special Christmas gift for someone or just treating yourself, you will be sure to find something lovely at Passion for Fashion.

"Entry is free so why not pop in and enjoy a rare treat of all these fantastic items under one roof."

The event runs from 9am until 4pm and donations to the hospice will be gratefully received.

This Friday there will be a private viewing with celebrity auctioneer Phillip Sorrel taking bids for items donated by stallholders and Worcester city centre shops.
