FRESH croissants dipped in steaming hot chocolate was on the breakfast menu at Droitwich Spa school.
Pupils at Westacre Middle School enjoyed a typical French breakfast as part of a special language day. They were also invited to dress up in an international costume and take part in taster sessions in Chinese, Japanese, Italian and German.
Jacqui Clements, head of French, said: "The day was held to promote languages and not just the languages learnt in all middle schools.
"The children really enjoyed themselves."
