IMAGINATIVE tots created a mosaic of their school's namesake saint. Pupils at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Ombersley Way took part in the challenge as part of the parish mission at Droitwich's Sacred Heart Church.
Headteacher Kate Hill said: "The children worked hard to develop this mosaic of St Joseph and we hope that later in the year we will be able to do a proper mosaic of this for outside the school."
l THE sound of chiming church bells will fill Droitwich Spa this weekend. Town churches are being invited to ring their bells for ten minutes at 7pm this Friday. The harmonious event will mark the end of Sacred Heart Church's first parish mission, which started on October 9.
The Worcester Road church is still running prayer sessions and coffee mornings until the end of the mission on Friday.
And there will still be a chance to meet one of the visiting priests, Father Richard Hagan and Father Michael McGreevy, both from Clapham in London.
