PERSHORE High School pupils were on a high on the hockey field last week when the Under-13 squad won the District Tourna-ment.
The annual event included opposition from Bredon Hill, Black-minster and Simon de Montfort Middle Schools and teams from Alcester and Stratford Grammar Schools.
However, it was Chipping Campden School that barred Pershore's path to glory but the Station Road girls rose to the occasion to record a 2-0 final triumph.
The successful squad comprised Sam Yarnold, Amy Langstone, Jessica Clamp, Laura Brooker, Amy Ridge, Katharine Gilbert and Milly Thorndike.
