MEMBERS were welcomed to the October meeting by Sue Lawson.
Special congratulations were given to Hazel Tindall, a founder member, and her husband Bill on their recent golden wedding anniversary.
Hazel was presented with a basket of golden roses.
Speaker Frank Townsend, from Malvern, spoke on Family Tree Tapping and gave an insight into many aspects of his searching.
After the tea break, the business was dealt with.
A monthly newsletter of the institute's activities is to be produced for each member.
Feckenham WI has sent an invitation to their 1940s Night on October 21. Raffle tickets for the Meningitis Trust were on sale.
Five members and their husbands had an enjoyable evening at Droitwich Brine Baths.
For social time, Hilary gave a quiz. The next meeting will be the AGM on November 3.
