STOURPORT ladies continued their run of success in the Worcestershire First Division with a 3-0 victory at near neighbours Bromsgrove.
It was Stourport who dominated the early stages of the first half with good possesion but they failed to create any goalscoring chances.
A strong Bromsgrove defence stood firm against the Stourport attack, who won several short corners, but could not break the deadlock.
They began the second half in similar fashion, by dominating the play but failing to make Bromsgrove pay.
Stourport finally made one of their short corners count when an Alissa Elford drag flick put them 1-0 up.
With Holly Lashford's team pressing so hard it was inevitable that they would extend their lead and their second goal came when the captain herself struck from a short corner.
With five minutes to go Vicky Bristow made sure of the result by reacting quickest after the Bromsgrove keeper had saved from another short corner.
The ladies bid to prolong their winning start to the season when they tackle Bournville seconds at The Kingsway at 2pm on Saturday.
A trip to Camp Hill on Saturday is the next test for the ladies seconds.
Goal machine Teri Baron hit her fourth hat-trick in five matches as the thirds demolished Droitwich in the Worcestershire Third Division.
Kathy Doyle scored twice, while Vicky Clarke and Emily McCoy were also on target in the convincing 7-0 win. They travel to Bromsgrove thirds at 10am on Saturday.
Kim O'Conner's solitary second half goal was not enough to prevent the fourths losing 4-1 at home to Bournville thirds.
They play Malvern in Worcestershire Third Division at Stourport astroturf pitches at 12.30pm on Saturday.
