CHADDESLEY Corbett's most impressive performance of the season did not gain the reward that it deserved as Kynoch ran out 4-1 victors in their Division Two encounter.

The defeat is Chaddesley's fourth on the trot and they continue to prop up the table.

From the outset Chaddesley were sprightly. Julian Fallows fed Tom Boden time after time, Dave Greenhouse exuded class at centre back and newly-wed Jim Webster kept creating space.

Sadly, despite this enterprising opening, Kynoch went into half-time three goals to the good.

Far from being deflated, Chaddesley flew out of the blocks in the second period with Andy Green's control of the centre of the pitch catching the eye.

Matt Boden finally converted a short corner and amidst a flurry of chances it seemed only a matter of time before they would score again.

But incredibly it was Kynoch who scored next. Many Chaddesley players felt that there was an infringement in the build up to the goal, but their protests were to no avail.

Matt Boden, who mediated in discussions with the umpire, was philosophical.

"These things go against you when you are down the bottom," he said.

Next week Chaddesley travel to Berkswell who have also lost every game this season in what promises to be an intriguing encounter.
