AMY Smith won two races in the first round of the Speedy League, held at Leamington Spa.
Wyre Forest Swimming Club are in the top division of the Midlands area of this national league, and the gala is for swimmers from nine upwards.
Smith, the only club member to achieve a win at the event, came first in the girls open 100m individual medley and the freestyle.
She has recently spent a week at the British swimming camp in France.

Youngsters from 11 upwards took part in the next round of the club championships, with races over 400m individual medley for girls and 1,500m freestyle for boys.
